Vaden Automotive opened its doors in 1968 under founding father, Dan Vaden. Mr. Vaden’s belief that the “customer signs our paychecks” remains the cornerstone of The Vaden Way. Dan’s daughter, Jane Vaden Thacher, carries that legacy torch today and encourages employee participation in grassroots efforts supporting “Education and Literacy”. Through Community Partnerships in all the communities we do business like Bluffton, Okatie, Pritchardville, and Charleston; Vaden stands firmly committed to making an impact not only today, but for many years to come.

Thank you May River High School for the invitation to participate at your “SHARK SUMMIT” on March 25th. As your Community Partner, we were pleased to send our very own MRHS Alum, Valentina Ramirez. She spoke to 9th Grade scholars about how to be successful in Automotive Sales. As all students begin exploring alternative career paths to life after high school, we are eager to help share our expertise and provide counsel on how to navigate the waters especially when it comes to our beloved “SHARKS”…that’s the Vaden Way!

What an enriching experience it was to participate in May River High School’s Reality Day! 🎓 Students spent the day discovering the intricacies of budgeting and financial planning based on their career aspirations. 💰
From understanding the financial implications of home ownership versus renting, to delving into the costs of utilities, transportation, child care, and more, students gained invaluable insights into managing their finances responsibly. 🏡🚗👶 We were proud to contribute our expertise to help students navigate the complexities of budgeting. We love empowering the next generation of leaders with the knowledge and confidence to thrive in the real world!

We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that the Classic Car & Truck Club of Beaufort presented their scholarship award letter to Joshua Arteaga Garduno at the May River High School awards ceremony. A few of Joshua’s proud coworkers were there to cheer him on and celebrate this significant achievement. Joshua’s dedication and passion have been evident in his work at our dealership, and we are excited to see him continue his journey with us after graduating high school. This scholarship will be a tremendous help in purchasing the tools and training he needs to further his skills and career.

Another Tennis Tournament at Sun City is in the books! Vaden Automotive was proud to be their Title Sponsor and help spark some additional competition with a YETI giveaway for Match Point players.
